I love to take photographs of naked trees. Recently I went for a walk in the late afternoon. Within a mile distance from the house, I grabbed these shots. It was cold, the air crisp and there was still a small about of snow on the ground. As the sun set the sky changes from a brillant blue,

to a pink and gold to finally a shimmering gold low on the horizon. Hard to believe these three different pictures were taken within 300 yards of each other and on the same evening.

One of the pleasures of living on the Colorado plains is the beautiful sky scapes.
